Looking for something fun to do in Southern Indiana this weekend?

1. New Albany Blues Brews & BBQ Festival
The name of the event says it all. The Enchanted Forest Live in New Albany is hosting this event featuring six different bands that will take the stage throughout the day. The music will be anchored by BBQ from Smokin’ Franks BBQ and Floyd County Brewing Company will be serving up the brews. This is event is for those 21 yrs and up.
July 2, 2-11pm, $10 Cover Charge
2. Harrison County Popcorn Festival
Y'all, the Harrison County Popcorn Festival is back in Corydon! This 2-day event celebrating Harrison County's agricultural heritage (and it's official snack) will feature live music, a parade, children's activities, a car show, a beer garden, fireworks, and more. See link below for details.

3. Movie In The Park: Space Jam 2
Clarksville Parks and Recreation will be showing Space Jam 2 at their annual Movie In The Park series. Bring a chair and a cooler to Gateway Park in Clarksville and enjoy the free movie. Pets, smoking, and alcohol are not permitted.

4. Free Fishing Day Activity At Falls Of The Ohio
Falls of the Ohio State Park in Clarksville is hosting this event in which Naturalist Mike Gibson will "talk about the best time of the day to fish, the best bait, seasonal fishing tips," and will show you the best places to fish along the shoreline. You can bring your own rod and reel or just come to listen. Parking for the event is $2,
7/2, 3-4pm, Parking $2
5. Pekin 4th Of July Celebration
The oldest consecutive 4th of July celebration in the nation continues it's streak to 192 years. The annual celebration of our nation's independence will take in Pekin and will feature food, music, a carnival, a flea market, and a parade. A schedule of events can be found at the link below.

A. Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi In Concert
This unique event will combine the viewing of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi with a live performance of the musical score by the Louisville Orchestra. More info and tickets at the link below.
