Fun Things To Do In Southern Indiana This Weekend 10/27/21

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are just a few of the things going on in the 812:

1. Halloween Parade

This year marks the 87th Annual Corydon Halloween Parade in downtown Corydon. Parade vehicles and participants will feature Halloween themed costumes and decorations and yes, there will be candy. After the parade, you can head to the Harrison County Fairgrounds for trick-or-treating and a fireworks show.

10/30, Parade begins at 5pm, Free admission

2. Pumpkin Painting Party

Ready to decorate your pumpkin for Halloween? BYOP or bring-your-own-pumpkin to Falls of The Ohio State Park and artist Mike Gibson will guide you through turning your jack-o-lantern into a spooky work of art. No sign up needed, just bring your pumpkin and the paint and brushes will be provided.

10/30, 3pm - 4pm, Free Admission

3. Pearl Street Taphouse Halloween Party

The 4th Annual Halloween Party is in full effect this Saturday at Pearl Street Taphouse in downtown Jeffersonville. Spooky drinks will be served and a costume contest will be had. Stop in between 6pm and midnight and join in on the fun.

10/30, 6pm - Midnight, Costume contest at 10pm, Free Admission

4. Haunted Car Wash

There are nearly an unlimited number of Halloween events happening all across The 812 this week, but this one captured our attention with it's creativity and charitable component. Mister G's Car Wash in New Albany is having a Haunted Car Wash clamining that it is "the spookiest and most entertaining way to clean your car". Costumed characters, Halloween decorations, and candy for the kids will turn your already awesome Mister G's car wash into a fun time for you and your kids. Plus half the proceeds from the event will go to support the New Albany High School soccer teams.

10/28 -10/30, 5pm - 9pm, $20 per vehicle

5. Malice Manor Haunted House

Malice Manor in Clarksville is dubbed Southern Indiana's scariest haunted house. If your looking for an indoor event this weekend and don't mind paying to have others scare the candy corn out of you, than this is the place to be. Malice Manor offers over 10,000 sq ft of terror and fright and is a great Halloween treat for those who are not faint of heart.

10/29 & 10/30, 8pm - 1am, Tickets Required
